Heyyyyy. You awake? Sorry it's so late but I literally just finished Awakening the Tita and I can't sleep, my brain is still buzzing.
Okay, so remember how that guy told us it was like, "an epic adventure where you step into the colossal footsteps of a mighty titan and smash through obstacles"? Dude was SO wrong. Like, completely. That's like describing a really good gourmet burger as "ground meat in bread." Technically true, but misses everything that makes it special.
Honestly, when I first started playing, I was expecting some big stompy monster game. But no. You're this tiny, little glowy spirit, like a firefly almost, in this HUGE, beautiful, silent world. The "Tita" isn't something you *are*, it's this ancient, sleeping giant that *is* the world. And your job is to gently wake it up. Not by smashing, but by finding these little "resonance crystals" and linking them up to bring light back to parts of its body.
The first time I got to the "Whispering Woods" area, I spent like an hour just flying around, listening to the soft chimes and the rustle of the giant glowing leaves. It was so peaceful. And then I figured out that if you connect the blue crystals first, it makes these hidden pathways of light appear, and you can reach new spots. That was so clever, I actually gasped. I was like, "No way!" I don't usually like puzzle games but this was different, it felt like I was actually discovering ancient secrets.
I totally lost track of time, looked at the clock and it was almost 3 AM. Oops. I was just so hooked on seeing what new part of the Tita I could awaken next. Like, one time I had to guide these little "moss sprites" to a dormant heart-chamber to get it beating again. It was so delicate, not like any game I've played before. It just makes you feel so small but also really important, your decisions feel like they matter.
I already told my sister Maya she HAS to play it, even though she mostly plays those fast-paced shooter games. I think she'd love how chill and beautiful it is. It's not action-packed at all, it's more about exploration and like, gentle discovery. And the music? Oh my god. It's so good. It's like, just these soft, sweeping sounds that make you feel like your really there. You gotta check it out, seriously. It's fun. Really, really fun.
