Dude, you awake? It's 11 PM but I just finished Hammer Hero and my brain is still buzzing, I swear. Can't sleep.
Remember what Sarah said about it? "Forge powerful weapons, equip powerful heroes, and lead them in epic battles." Like, that's technically true, but it's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings." It totally misses the point.
Honestly, I thought it was gonna be some boring clicker game. But you're not really fighting, your little hero guys do that. YOU, the Hammer Hero, you're like, the conductor of chaos. You have to smash specific things on the battlefield at just the right time to help them. Like, there's these "Spark Anvils" and if you hit one right after a "Glimmer Golem" puts up its shield, it makes the shield explode instead of just deflecting. That changes *everything*! I figured that out on the third 'stage' and my mind was blown.
The first few 'parts' were a bit confusing, like, what am I even doing? But then it just clicked. It's like playing whack-a-mole but with strategy, or like conducting a tiny, chaotic orchestra. That "THWACK" sound when you perfectly time a hit? So good. And the little "Squeaky Bat" pet I got, it distracts the "Grumpy Goblins" for a few seconds, which is crucial for setting up a big combo.
I looked at the clock and it was like, 1:30 AM. Whoops. I was legit thinking about the "Slime Puddle" boss fight during my lunch break today, trying to figure out the best hammer sequence. I don't usually like games where your just watching stuff happen, but this was different. You're actually *doing* stuff.
It's really fun. Like, surprisingly fun. The monsters are kinda goofy too, not super terrifying. Already told Mark he HAS to play it. Seriously, you gotta try it. It’s not boring like other games. You actually want to keep playing because your always figuring out new stuff.
