My first "puzzle" was figuring out how to get this little glowing mushroom to light up a path. I poked it, nothing. Then I tried *singing* to it, like, by clicking different notes on a little chime interface, and suddenly it pulsed and showed me the way. I was like, "WHAT?!" It was so unexpected.
It's more about discovery and just, like, *being* in this super weird, beautiful world. You're not really battling enemies, your solving the *environment*. You collect these ancient "Echo Seeds" and plant them in specific spots, and then these giant, glowing Crystal Vines grow and make new bridges or open up hidden caves. It's so cool because the whole map changes as you play. I remember I planted one by this old waterfall, and it grew into this massive, shimmering tree that created a whole new path up the cliff. Your not just finding treasure, your literally building the world as you go.
I played for like four hours straight without even realizing it. I looked at the clock and it was almost 3 AM, I thought it was like 1. I was so hooked trying to figure out how to open the "Sunken Temple" door, which needed a specific sequence of "light echoes" to unlock. It was a bit confusing at first, I'm not gonna lie, because I kept expecting a boss fight or something, but once I got how it works, it was just so fun. Really, really fun. The sound design too, when you solve something, it's like a soft, magical chime that makes you feel really clever.
